90's Singer Sonia For Celebrity Big Brother?

According to Channel 5 sources Sonia Evans is eager to enter the Big Brother house when the show returns next month.
Sonia's music career began in 1989 when her debut album 'Everybody Knows' scored 5 top 20 hits in the early 90's. Despite her first album doing well, her second album did not live up to expectations peaking at 33. However in 1993 she represented the UK in the Eurovison Song Contest, finishing in second place with 'Better the devil you know '. She also sang in charity single 'Do they know its Christmas time'. A source said - 

“Sonia is very excited about returning to the public eye,” a source said, “Big Brother could do wonders for her career." 

A Big Brother insider added - 

"Bosses want to attract as many viewers as possible so this year we can expect a huge range of celebrities."

Celebrity Big Brother is expected to return on August 17/18th on Channel 5.
