The bi-sexual 52 year old who shot to fame in romantic band Visage has 'had a series of meetings with Channel 5 executives'. Steve has been linked to Big Brother before but has never taken the offer seriously, until now.
Steve's singing career collapsed in the late 90's leaving him with drink, drug and mental problems. He is also a dab hand at shop lifting being found in 2000 to have been stealing from a string of high street stores, including being caught taking a Tellytubby doll from a shop. Thanks to his murky past, Big Brother producers think he will be an excellent housemate and are desperate to get him to sign on for this years Celebrity Big Brother.
