Facebook Credits are a virtual currency that are used to buy virtual goods, however the company who runs Big Brother, Endemol has started to allow the public in Germany to use the credits to vote on Big Brother. One vote will cost seven Facebook Credits, about €0.49 (£0.44) which is significantly less than £1 from a BT landline as seen in previous series of Big Brother in this country. It's thought that the company is looking at at adopting the technology in all 31 countries where it operates. This could mean we could be voting for Big Brother in the future within the click of a mouse! Whilst we don't think we'll be using Facebook Credits to vote in Big Brother this year, it could certainly be a possibility for the future.
