Confirmed: Brian Dowling To Present Big Brother

Channel 5 have announced Brian Dowling as the new presenter of Big Brother when it takes over the nations screens this August.
Big Brother winner Brian will front the live main show on Channel 5, where views will see him introducing the new housemates, interviewing the latest evictees and bringing you all the latest news from the most famous house in television!
Brian won Big Brother 2 in 2001 and has since gone on to enjoy an extensive TV and radio career. Last year he won the last ever series of Big Brother on Channel 4, Ultimate Big Brother, becoming the nations No.1 housemate. Brian Said - 
“I am so excited about this opportunity to host one of the most talked about shows on TV. It is 10 years since I won Big Brother so what better way to celebrate and mark that anniversary than to be asked to host the new series. It’s on a new channel and a fresh start for the show that has kept the nation entertained for 11 years and I am so excited, to be a part of it!”
Big Brother Creative Director, Gavin Henderson added - 
“Brian is a Big Brother superfan with huge personality and talent. Who better to bring the ultimate reality show back to our screens than the nation’s ultimate housemate.”
Speaking about both Brian and Emma's new Big Brother roles, Jeff Ford Channel 5's Director Of Programmes said - 
“We are delighted to announce Brian Dowling and Emma Willis as the new presenters of Big Brother 2011. As The Ultimate Big Brother Housemate, Brian is the perfect man to be at the helm of Big Brother's new incarnation. Emma meanwhile is a consummate professional - as well as being a self confessed superfan. Their combined expertise and first-hand experience of the show will bring an extra dimension to Big Brother when it returns this summer."
