Freederm to return as Big Brother sponsors on Channel 5

Brandrepublic has today reported that Freederm will return as Big Brother’s main sponsor for the new series which begins on Channel 5 next month.

The skincare brand first sponsored the show during Big Brother 11 and Ultimate Big Brother on Channel 4 last year, joining a list of high-profile brands to sponsor the show which have included Jack Daniels, BT Cellnet, O2, Virgin Media and TalkTalk.

Freederm idents, which last year were specifically themed around Big Brother, will be broadcast around segments of the show and Freederm branding will appear on Big Brother products including the official website and planned forthcoming apps.

Freederm is the next in a series of confirmed BB returns which include Marcus Bently as the BB narrator, Emma Willis as the host of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Brian Dowling as mainshow presenter, Paul Oakenfold and Andy Gray’s Big Brother theme tune and iconic eye branding. One return yet to be confirmed is that of a 24/7 Live Feed from the Big Brother House which is believed to have been axed in favour of a Facebook app keeping fans updated with clips from the House.

Which have been your favourite BB sponsor ads? We loved BT Cellnet’s Houseflies series featuring Horse and Fruit!
