It had previously been reported by ex housemates Nick Bateman and Grace Dent that Big Brother would return on either August 17th or August 18th. However the Daily Star now seems to have confirmed the date as Wednesday 17th August at the bottom of the article we reported on earlier.
The new Big Brother launches on Channel 5 on August 17.
This would mark 342 days since Big Brother was last on our screens on Channel 4.
The show will kick off with a 4 week celebrity version followed by the normal 13 week version straight after.
